In short, what are the blessings and obligations of a bride in the marriage relationship.



How do these find application in the church as the bride of Christ?

Technically speaking, we are now in a betrothal state of our relationship with Christ. The actual “marriage” takes place at the end of time. Why is this distinction important?

How does this metaphor help us understand God’s feelings about us when we sin?
